WSOP Weekly: PA Series Wraps Up; Twitch Streamer ‘BetOnDrew’ Scores Multiple Final Tables

The World Series of Poker Online bracelet hunting came to an end over the weekend in WSOP.com rewarded eight players with bracelets with $1.5 million paid out in prize pools.
The series ran from Aug. 8-17 with buy-ins ranging from $400 to $3,200. Numerous players headed to the state to chase gold for the series.
That included popular Twitch streamer Drew “MoveBlanket” Gonzalez. He landed multiple final table appearances and cashes during the series.

Event 6: $400 NLHE PKO (Aug. 13)
Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some, but player “Conngong12” will the day as a good one. Conngong score a bracelet and netted $22,214 by taking the top spot.
Over $12,000 of that prize came from bounties, and runner-up went to “MoxSTeeM” for $13,747.
In total, the tournament recorded 319 entries for a prize pool of $114,840. The table was live streamed on Twitch thanks to Drew “MoveBlanket” Gonzalez, who finished in fourth. He Twitch channel is known as “BetOnDrew.”
Event 7: $600 MonsterStack (Aug. 14)
Michael “TonyBandanas” Lavin scored his first bracelet in the Monster. He won $39,642 and ed the club of players with both a bracelet and a WSOP Circuit ring.
Lavin outlasted 288 entrants to get his piece of the $155,520 prize pool.
Event 8: $1,000 PA Championship (Aug. 15)
On Sunday players competed in the first ever PA Championship bracelet event. Andre “LoveToLose” Porter scored his first bracelet for $65,525 in a tournament that attracted 311 entries.
Porter outplayed some tough final table competition including the previous night’s winner, Michael Lavin, and Twitch streamer Drew Gonzalez. It was a nice couple days for that pair.

Event 3: $3,200 High Roller (Aug. 17)
This event was originally set for Aug. 10 but was rescheduled due to technical difficulties. The event only drew 86 entries making it one of the smallest bracelet fields in the post-Moneymaker poker boom.
Many players took to Twitter, bewildered by the payout structure that paid out almost half the field. A min-cash in the event was worth less than the original buy in.
“DerekHarper” was victorious and won $66,641. The total prize pool reached $261,440. One notable cases included Zach “CaptainLevi” Gruneberg, who made his second final table of the series.
